ELLIPSIS WRITING GROUP The group is about half a dozen strong, and most of us have demanding full-time jobs, families, friends and lots of other major distractions from doing what's really important, i.e. writing stuff. If you find what you see interesting, do get in touch - one thing anyone who writes really likes is feedback from someone who has read their piece.

FIRE RIVER POETS The purpose in setting the Group up was to offer a forum for active poets. It is not a poetry appreciation group. Although the Group began with (and retains) a relaxed attitude to membership, the assumption is that members are writing and are willing to read their poems to each other. All local (ie Somerset based) poets who want to improve their technique and are willing to share their fascination with/enjoyment of/obsession with poetry are welcome to join us.

Some of us have been published, some of us long to be published, some of us write solely for our own pleasure. The one thing we all have in common is that we want to improve our writing.
