Sutton
- My first novel was published in 2006.
The Worms of Euston Square is a mystery
set in Victorian London and was launched
at the Edinburgh Book Festival. I enjoyed
the mix of history, dark humour and
suspense and Im working on another
novel starring the same detective,
Campbell Lawless.
Ive won radio writing awards and had
plays broadcast on LBC Radio and produced
in London fringe theatres. Ive had
short stories published in magazines and
books. Ive also taught creative
writing and read scripts for a radio
production company.
I currently write for magazines in the UK,
Italy, France and Brazil. My main subjects
are language, music, travel and
technology, but Ive also written
about weird phenomena and South American
cricket.
Im from Scotland, but have also
lived in England, the USA, Brazil and
Italy. Besides writing, Ive
performed on the Edinburgh Fringe, acted
in the worlds longest play, sung in
ice-cream parlours, taught Latin and
Greek, tutored the Sugarbabes and played
cricket for Brazil.
