Profiled Reviewer Alison Theaker Alison Theaker - Born 25 February, 1958 in Exminster, Devon. Studied Politics at the University of York. Worked in public relations and as a freelance journalist, with regular columns in British Journal of Photography and Creative Review. Then taught on the BA in PR at Leeds Metropolitan University where I completed an MA in PR on the subject of Barriers to Women in Public Relations. Runner up in first Improper Bostonian short story competition, 2001 with A Family Christmas. First novel published, No Rhyme nor Reason (iUniverse 2003). Won first Sudden Fiction contest run by New Voices, Cambridge, MA May 2004 with A Room With A View.
