My name's
Dan
McLachlan,
I'm 28 and I live in Wandsworth,
London.
I am the singer/guitarist in two rock
bands and I write and record solo material

time for image library and licensing
company Eaglecrown Productions Ltd.
I went to boarding school aged 8 to 18. I
have a BA Hons from Nottingham University
in Russian with Serbo-Croat and a MA from
Westminster University in Russian and
Polish Translation.
In what free time I have left I love to
write poetry, lyrics and music, and have
started my second novel, Godric Crook
being my first. I find writing both music
and literature cathartic and would like
nothing better than to spend my every
waking hour doing just that. I have an
incessant creative itch which denies me
the ability to sit still for long unless I
am using my imagination to some end or
other.
I finished Godric Crook a year ago and I
believe that it is a unique work -
well-written, humorous, fresh, hugely
imaginative and gripping. The rhyming
novel market is not exactly overflowing
and this really is the ultimate.
