Welcome to LiteraryAgent. If you’re a writer looking to get published then LiteraryAgent is here to help. When you’ve written the last chapter of your book, a new chapter begins – seeking representation of a literary agent. You’ll need to be prepared for an arduous journey. We’ve put together some great resources that will help you get onto the right path and ultimately give you the best possible chance of securing a literary agent to represent you and your book. We’ll also be adding regular articles to the site offering our best advice.

FIND A LITERARY AGENT

Our listings of literary agents have all been categorised into the genres that they handle. This is a manual process so our system doesn’t rely on ill-functioning search tools. Our results give you the information you want. So, for example, if you search for a literary agent that handles Fantasy, then it’s those details that will be returned to you, not “we don’t handle Fantasy” as often is the case elsewhere on the Internet.

We also have some essential documents for you, all formatted and ready for you to download and use. We have two templates available – the manuscript template and the synopsis template. Also available is our standard letter to a literary agent.

MINGLE

Get Mingling in the Members’ Area. Mingle is the new community area for authors and writers at LiteraryAgent co.uk.

Mingle is a bit like Twitter. Users set up a profile, add friends, and in the Activity area can see what others are up to as well as posting messages themselves about what they’re doing.
